Technical Resources

Technical documentation for our precast hempcrete panels. Content is being finalized and will be updated here.

§ 1

Overview

An introduction to our panel system — how the panels are designed, what they're made of, and where they fit in your build.

  • System overview — The High Performance Hempcrete Panel is composed of standard wood framing with a hempcrete infill.
  • Materials and composition — All wood framing for the High Performance Hempcrete Panels is constructed of dimensional lumber. All lumber is hand selected to ensure it is free of mold and other defects. The hempcrete consists of three parts: hemp hurd as the aggregate, lime as the binder, and water. Once fully cured, the hempcrete naturally self-regulates indoor humidity by absorbing and releasing water vapor, preventing mold and dampness.
  • Applicable codes and standards — TBD
